The Furniture Mission is operated mostly by volunteers. There is always a need for help, whether it be at a regularly scheduled time at the warehouse/office or as your schedule allows.

Each person has individual gifts, talents and abilities, and there is a need for each and every one.

The areas for service are many

• Drive trucks to pick up and deliver furniture
• Assist with pick up and delivery
• Answer phones and essential clerical work
• Clean and repair furniture
• Sort and tag bedding and linens
• Assist with organization of the warehouse
• Computer data entry
• Clean the office and warehouse
• Pray for all who give and receive

Other ways in which you can help

• Share expertise in your field of knowledge
• Contribute financially to keep the trucks running, the electric and gas bills paid, insurance premiums and much more
• Pray for those who volunteer
• Promote the work of the Mission by sharing and speaking to your group, church and organization

Group Volunteers
Many groups, especially from churches, come to help when it fits their schedule; many on Saturdays or evenings. If your group is willing to donate the time to deliver furniture or help in the warehouse, call the office at 605-977-6800 to make arrangements.
